I try Kijiji (I’m in Ottawa) there is always a bride selling second hand, and often times it’s cheaper than what you could get at Michaels. Also places like Value Villages sometimes have good finds

Definitely Value Village/Goodwill are great resources for vases so long as you don’t need all matching ones. Have you looked into a place over the border that will accept packages for a nominal fee? I know there are some in Buffalo, but I don’t know what would be closest to Montreal. That way you could save on the shipping fees but you’d likely still have to pay taxes *if* you claimed them on your way back over (not that we honest Canadians ever would do that…). Plus who doesn’t need an excuse to go to Target?!

It depends on the kind of glass bottles you are looking for and what you need them for?

I would try the dollarama for vases as they are no more than $2 per or try Ikea

As for cheap arts and craft supplies, I find that Omer de Serres has good prices when they have sales so watch out for that.

I bought my amber boston bottles for my vanilla extract at http://www.newdirectionsaromatics.ca/

they are located in Brampton, Ontario so you won’t have to worry about duties.

If you are looking for affordable packaging/ribbon, I got mine at

http://www.dunwoodybooth.com/canada/index.php?

They are located in Mississauga, Ontario and their prices in their shop closeouts/sales are really good.

If you are looking for anything in particular, I just had my wedding in July and I was looking to sell some of my stuff so if you want to message me.
