@Future_Ms.Bostonceltics:  You won’t find nice hotels downtown & in the old port for less than 100$ I can promise you that. If you don’t mind taking the metro, try looking somewhere along the orange or green lines. It won’t take you long to get to all the sites & you’ll get to experience a little extra part of our city. It doesn’t cost much to buy a week pass – you’ll totally save it on hotels.

Right now expedia.ca has some great deals for montreal. That was the only sight i looked at. I plugged in what i think are ur dates, sept 6-10 and got some reasonable options including an intercontinetal for 130 a teensy bit above ur price but there were other options too. If there are certain hotels u r interested in lemme know and ill look at them. Also try signing up for groupon type sites for montreal, they often have montreal hotel packages. Good luck!

@Future_Ms.Bostonceltics:  Yes, google maps has our stations on the map. The best way is to type hotels in the search & pan around the map til you see something in your range.

I’d suggest stations west of Lionel Groulx. The old port is from Square Victoria -Champs de Mars. Downtown, depending on your interpretation is Atwater to Berri UQUAM (it gets sketchy around Berri though). There’s also the hipster part of town that’s got some of our best restaurents around Mount-Royal. 🙂
