I wanted some insight and or suggestions on decently priced bachelorette party destinations from NYC. My bridal party has been incredibly generous and I don’t want them to fork out ridiculous amount of money to fly to Vegas or Mexico.
However, I’m not a big fan of Atlantic city and want to skip a night on the town in NYC, and we’re getting married in wine country so I’d like to skip a vineyard your with the girls.
I was thinking of Montreal or Toronto for a weekend since we could drive/train/fly there and most of the people would be coming from the NYC/Washington DC/Philly areas.
I’m not much of a gambler, love the beach and festivals and am a big foodie and cocktail fan, so I was thinking of a place that would have great food, live music, great drinks maybe and bar hopping between venues and possibly ending up at a fun venue to just dance at and have a good time. We are between 25-30, a mix of single and married and all pretty outgoing. I’m not opposed to karaoke either! I’ve been to Montreal with my fiancé and loved it and am leaning towards it, but I’m open to suggestions on other destinations from the northeast for a group of about 10-12.
If you are from Montreal or had your bachelorette weekend in Montreal or know of someone who did, I would be grateful for any and all suggestions on places to go/avoid/stay at/etc. Thank you all!! Sorry for the super long post 🙂

I looooove Montreal, that’d be a great choice! I’m not a local there so I can’t suggest anything specific but if I was your BM I’d be stoked to go there instead of vegas.
Or, what about Carnival in Toronto (Ontario ladies – is it called caribana? I’m not sure) Maybe some locals who have been to it can give more details? I always thought it was a city-wide party and it sounds fun!

Oh, if it makes any difference in suggestions on activities or alternative destinations, we are thinking of going the second or third weekend in August.
