@Leonard2B:  I personally like #2, but I think most people will pick #3.  Maybe make a poll?

The grays in #2 harmonize really well with the granite countertop.

Your granite counter looks just like ours!!  I want to do a new back splash someday too….Currently ours is most like #3 but the tiles are larger, like 4×4 squares.  I want to do something more like your #2

    I’ve been eyeing these two:

Hmmm I’m not really a fan of any of them sorry hun. I think the top two will date really quickly and the bottom just looks wrong. I would do shades of grey & blue similar to the top one but ditch the dark brown squares. Keep it light and uplifting!

    Something like this:

    I like 1! I don’t really like the brown in 2 and 3 just doesn’t match

@Leonard2B:  #2 is definitely my favorite!  All of the tones are complimentary 🙂

I like #2 but it might would help if there was a close up of #1.  We have the black and white ones in my kitchen that are just like these.

@Leonard2B:  I think home depot.  But we haven’t looked in person yet.  All my research so far has been online.  We won’t be doing it for a while but I am dreaming about it! 🙂  I want to do what you did, actually get them in the kitchen and see how they look.  I totally bet you are right that some look totally different in person.  This is another one I love too:

I can’t wait to re-do ours!!  Lucky you!!!!  Make sure to post some after pics 🙂

@Leonard2B:  I actually have installed backsplash #2 at a house I used to live in. It’s very pretty. I’d go with 1 or 2. Number 3 looks like it should go in the bathroom to me.

We just did a backsplash that looks a lot like #1 so I am partial to that one but we did square tiles instead of the the one  that are interlocking.  We thought they were easier to align and didn’t have to worry about cutting them.
