Do any of you ladies have a more modest of a dress, especially in the neckline? I would love to have a more modest front to my dress with some drama, I’m thinking backless or at least largely open back. I have worn strapless before but I just dont feel comfortable enough walking around all day in strapless or with a v-neck neckline. I want to feel comfortable but also sexy/elegant.

I’m really busty so clevage is kind of inevitable, but if you are smaller chested than I am I think my dress has a somewhat modest neckline. I also really like the illusion back because it’s interesting without me having to have a lot of bare skin. I know I’m going to be hugging people at my wedding and the though of them all touching my bare back gives me the heebie jeebies.

@anemone681: I don’t have my dress yet, but I will have a modest neckline. I have large breasts so I can only do so much, but I sure don’t want cleavage or to be “popping out.” I want eyes on me, not my breasts.

@MrsPanda99: I dont have large breasts but I dont want to monitor my actions and body positions all night to make sure Im not flashing someone. No matter how well a strapless dress is tailored I still manage to get close to those moments of being revealed, plus the relief of knowing everything is tucked away will make it easier to let lose and enjoy the night

@anemone681: This isn’t my dress, but it was a very close runner-up – super comfortable and I loved the dramatic V-back: http://www.weddingshoppeinc.com/pr/Da-Vinci-50168/47812
One note: the sample I tried on had the lace in a different position so there wasn’t a huge flower front and center!

Google “Emma Glee Wedding Dress.” I LOVE her Audrey Hepburn styled dress, which has a high neckline, and deep V back. It made me say wow when I saw it. And you can’t go wrong with Audrey 🙂

I haven’t been dress shopping yet, but I love this one…

My neckline was pretty modest. I’m not blessed in the chest area whatsoever so I didn’t want any attention there, however my back is nice & fit so I wanted to showcase that part instead…

This Ida terrible picture…
But mine is pretty modest – it is a one shoulder that completely covers my chest. Although I’m not sure what your options would be for a deep back with this type of dress.

@HopefulForLittleOne: I think it was originally from J Crew. It was stunning!
