I am full of polls today 😉
So we had ordered a ring off Etsy that didn’t end up great :/ and we sent it back. It was a split shank halo with a 6.50 mm aqua as the center stone.
After much disucssion, we decided to go with this Gabriel & Co. setting instead, but I still want a gemstone centerstone. Which do you like better with this setting– aqua or morganite?

What color gold?
I’ve seen morganites in white colored metal and it tends to wash them out. In rose or yellow gold they are magical. So if you were going for white metal I’d choose aqua.

Cant go wrong with either. But make sure the quality of the aqua is good. A lot of times they look vivid blue in pictures but are almost white in person.

We will be hand picking the stone either way from the jeweler, not purchasing anything online. The Gabriel sample ring will be in on Tuesday as well as the gemstones for us to look at.

@GoldfishPie: Well, I’m not sure if Gabriel will customize, although I *think* they might. I am tossing around the idea of rose gold with the morganite. Otherwise, white gold.
