I founda beautiful morganite ring that is pretty much exactly the kind of setting I want. Though I am much more patial to white stones. I just want it to have the same sort of sparkle my white sapphire does. So, if you can, I’d love to see a video. Also…here’s the ring I found.
This one is a veeeeeeeeeeery light pink obviously. I do not mind it being that light at all.
I just worry because my sapphire is a 9 on the MOHs scale and this is a 7.5-8?
I own a considerable amount of morganite jewelry. It doens’t really “sparkle” like a diamond would, but it more reflects light in a pretty and subtle way. It would probably catch your eye in low light like candlelight, but no it doesn’t necessarily sparkle.
It’s hard to tell that it’s pink in the type of lighting I was in (plus it’s in a white-gold mock setting- mine will be yellow gold, which makes it appear pinker), but this is what the stone we selected looks like. It sparkles a lot in person. Our jeweler showed us other morganites to choose from that were round but they were less sparkly. They were also all cut differently.
