Has anyone seen pics of this dress on a real bride? or have this dress themself? Ive been looking on google but I havent found any. I really love it, but want to see how it looks on someone real. (Going to a bridal salon is not an option, I am not in the U.S. so I cant get to try it) Please help if you can

On Theknot.com  there is a forum about the Mori Lee dresses, halfway down someone set up pictures of mori lee brides. http://talk.theknot.com/boards/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=61418575&forumid=15

"HI ladies! I created a new mori lee bio for all the brides that's worn Mori Lee dresses. Link in siggy. Email me if you want to be added. morileebio@yahoo.com I need some new girls in there! :)

    All your dresses are amazing!!"

That might help you, this is a new dress so thats why you probably can't find real women wearing the dress.

Hi! I actually tried this dress on this past weekend. It is a gorgeous dress, especially on the hanger. I loved the style of this dress...it is simplistic but the belted detail makes it seem glamorous. I would recommend this style for someone who wants to be a bit cutting edge or someone who wants to hide any hips...or if you are tall. I am an hourglass figure and it just didn't do much for my body type so it really depends on what you are looking for. I love Mori Lee and I ended up buying the style 4523 which was much more flattering for me, but still dramatic and romantic too :)  Good luck on your search!

I tried on this dress about 2 weeks ago.  I saw it on the hanger and LOVED it!  I think it is so classy.. reminds me of vintage Hollywood- simple, but super glamorous!  The taffeta is such a great texture, and the skirt is so full.  I also really love the bodice, the overlapping heart bust is just really becoming, I think.  I tried it on and it just did nothing for me.  Because I have a large bust, that took up most of the bodice of the dress, so I looked like a set of boobs with a lampshade coming out of the bottom of them, LOL!  I have pictures.. message me if you really want to see them.. they're bad, LOL!!  Because I am a bigger girl, I needed the waist of the dress to start quite a bit lower than it did.  It created more of an empire waist on me, which was not flattering.  I think that if you are a small frame, this dress would be very attractive!  Oh, and the price was one of the best I had seen!  $498 at my local bridal shop.

I just purchased this dress!  I LOVE it!  I don't have any pictures since the bridal shops don't allow pictures.  It's not quite as full as the picture from the mori lee website but it's still a ball gown.  I have narrow sholders and the sweetheart neckline is perfect~  I also love the fact that the gown has pockets!

I hope this works.  Here are two pics. This is the dress I'm thinking of getting, but I'm just not sure.  The first pic is full length pic of me in the dress, but the top is much too big for my small chest!  The second pic is a close-up of the beaded belt and top (since you can't really see it in the online picture).  Hope it helps you make a decision.

I absolutely love love love this dress and it is the one that I am going to get... only I am adding straps due to my daddykins request.. he is paying for the wedding after all..

But I still think that it looks beautiful.

What type of veil are you girls going to wear?

Sorry about the silly expression on my face.. I was in love with the dress.

$543 dollars. plus the alterations. Oh well.

Hi! I just bought this dress yesterday morning. I have photos of myself in the dress if anyone wants to email me. Re: waitingbee: I am a plus sized girl (16) and I think this dress is really flattering. I am smaller on top with larger hips and so this dress was perfect. I agree that the skirt isn't as large as it looks in the mori lee stock photos, but it's beautiful and it has pockets! I am also switching out the crystal belt for a green sash to coordinated with my bmaids dresses. Again, let me know if you want photos! :)

@hisbunny where did you find that dress for $543?? The cheapest I could find it in my area was $799 + alterations. They did say if I found it somewhere cheaper they would match the price.

That's where I got mine... so far from California though.  It was 478 with taxes... a steal!

@hisbunny  I am thinking a long veil or one that goes to the fingertips.  how about you?

    @tucklover

I tried on the dress with a fingertip length veil, and that looked pretty good to me. :) ( I ha

I have some friends that have offered to let me use their veils so I am going to try theirs out and see...

But if those are a no go, then I am going to get the fingertip one.

I have been trying to upload a picture of me in the dress but it will just not work.. :( sad times.

Fortunately, the dress shop here has the dress in my size (10) because my wedding is in 141 days, meaning that a four month waiting period to order the dress would be to long to wait.

I am going to call the boutique today to let them know that I am going to buy it.

    So excited!

Don't know if anyone's still interested in hearing about this dress, but I just have to say that I absolutely LOVED this dress. I was married almost 2 months ago, and I can't wait for my wedding photographer husband to take me out to do a photo shoot in it again!

I ordered this dress in September... it came in within the week. I went to try it on and it had been sewed wrong. I was so sad. Where the skirt met the top the stich dipped down below the belt. It didn't look good. So the store ordered me another dress... it just came in. I went to try it on, and apparently had lost some weight, so it was WAYY too big. I again, was sad. Then the owner said they had a dress 2 sizes smaller on the racks and had me try it on. I didn't think it would fit, and it fit perfectly!! She kept the 8 I had ordered even though she already had an 8 in the store and let me take home the 4!! So excited to finally have my dress at home :)

My wedding colors are maroon and gold and since the beading is more silver we're going to change that some to be more gold. I can't wait for the finished product.

Oh, and I'm wearing 2 slips underneath. It makes it more like the old picture on the mori lee site. I don't have a picture with 2 slips.. but here's a picture with the bigger slip I'm wearing.

Any more thoughts on best veil style/length to go with this dress. . . also, what type of bustle did you go with?  Thanks!

I have no idea what bustle they gave me.  I think it had something to do with the number five?  I'm still deciding between veils.  I liked ALL of them is my problem.  but I'm leaning toward a cathedral veil with no blusher.
