Hi - That dress looks great on you. I tried it on as well today but I am very petite -- so the dress hugged down to a little past mid-thigh. I wanted to get your feedback in terms of what you think of the dress (do you have any regrets), quality, and price? I was quoted $1200 (and the hollow to hem measurement isn't offered for the dress -- just a straight 53 inch length). Any details you can provide about your experience with the dress would be greatly appreciated as I need to order soon!
$1200???!!!! The dress tag price on this was only $912.50 and they carry the Maggie Tristan.
I love the dress, I have been looking since I got engaged in May, so it took me about 10 months to finally fall in love with something.
I emailed you about the Maggie Tristan, I really hope you can make a trip to Mariposa because they seem to be offering much better prices for gowns. The Tristan I think was in the $800 range.
Good luck!
Wow, what a mark up! For the mori Lee 2512 I am paying $730. Its a small bridal store in Mentor, Ohio. interesting...I didn't realize the prices for these gowns can fluctuate so much. I wonder if it has to do with the area?
I paid $775 for mine - and I bought the 4 bridesmaids dresses at the same salon.
I just tied on this dress today and I love it. The price on the tag was $749. The shop didn't let me take a picture though, so I am hoping to find it at another store that will let me take pictures so I can add it to my narrowed down choices for comparison.
@Snapdragon...I would love to see your pictures if you have them!

Hi everyone - I love reading about and seeing photos from everyones dress sessions, and I have to admit this was the LAST thing I cared about when planning my November 2010 wedding.
So far my experience started out not so fun, & became somewhat challenging because I felt that I was going to have to just pick something for fear of running out of time.
Fell in love with a gown in the mirror - then the more I looked at photos, the less I liked it. Anyone there with me?
Finally, the one dress that I'd been dying to try on arrived, at my favorite salon that I've ever been in to (4 in total). Mariposa Boutique in Anaheim, CA - and the staff is all GREAT, they have made this a very easy process and fun to top it off.
So here is what I picked, Mori Lee 2512 and I cannot wait to go and try it on again! I should have better photos after the 21st of February.
Pardon the no face, I had a bad hair day and it was very rainy here so I thought I'd spare you the frizz ball.
