I've been reading some of the posts about bridal salons ordering a dress that is WAY too big and now I'm SCARED! AAAH. My favorite dress so far is a Mori Lee gown and I'm hoping those of you who have bought Mori Lee can help me out.

If you are wearing/wore a Mori Lee wedding dress, how much did your actual size/wedding dress size differ? I am typically a size 2/4 in street clothes, but when I took my measurements, I saw that my biggest measurement fell under the size 8!!! I know I know I know that wedding dresses run bigger, but this seems much too big!

Any advice? THANK YOU! =)

I'm probably too late! But that exact thing happened to me. I am usually around 0-00 even and when I went to order it she told me i was a 4. I was hesitant but I believe that's just the way wedding dresses run and they don't care about my ego like street clothes do. : ) Plus, it's better to get bigger, and have it taken in than smaller and be uncomfortable. seamstresses can do a ton of magic. Mine has come in but unfortunately is in another state. :( So I'll have to let you know how accurate they were about the sizings. which one did you end up getting anyway???

Agree; I've tried on lots of Mori Lee. I'm a street size 6. Many other brands I could go with an 8 but Mori Lee was always bigger. Usually 10 or some even 12 fit just little big. So that is definatly typical!
