Hands down, I think the Maggie is more flattering!!
I agree...the Maggie is more flattering on your body...ARE you set and deciding between the two...or...just wanting an opinion on the dresses? I guess what really matters is HOW you feel?
Maggie! I think it's more flattering on you, but both look really good. :)
Both are lovely. The maggie with the ruching is definately flattering, but I voted for the MoriLee. I tried on that maggie, and on me the maggie made me feel a bit like 'here come the boobs', instead of 'here comes the bride'. Plus, the beading under the arms wasn't terribly comfortable. I think you have to choose the one you like best.
The maggie is VERY figure flattering and i dont think the beads make your chest look bigger
The rouching up to the corner is very flattering and makes you look great! I think the Maggie is where it's at!
I voted for the Mori Lee because it is so flattering and the back is beautiful! The Maggie is very pretty too, but I can tell you're concerned about the beading. If you're worried about it now, and buy the dress anyway, you're going to keep second guessing yourself. How long have you been dress shopping? I know that not everyone has a 'moment' but I was in a similar situation for you- comparing dresses to one another and nit-picking little things about each. I seemed to really like at least one dress per shop. Thankfully, I kept looking and eventually found 'the' dress that I wouldn't change a single thing about. I bought it that day and didn't even care to go home to compare pictures.
@twizzlo916: I love it but still want opinions. If in the end it isn't the most flattering dress I can get then I would prefer to realize that BEFORE I buy the dress. I have the problem that once I see a dress I like the ability to determine how flattering it is goes away and I actually need help in that area. Sad but true. Even if I feel great in a dress, if I look terrible in it to everone else I wont be nearly as happy as a dress I look AMAZING in.
I'll say it again, then - you look AMAZING in the Maggie! :)
@NotYourTypicalBride: Thanks! I am falloing more and more in love as I look at it.
You have lovely taste and I love them both, but I understand your concern about the beading. Have you tried a square neckline? It would de-emphasize your chest a bit, and bring you more into proportion overall.
If you're ready to pick between these two, the Maggie is my fav of the two here. But I'd keep looking for a Maggie without beads on top, personally.
@lisalew5472: I have and it looks funny in a way that is hard to describe. I always tried to avoid "boob beads" as my mother so elequently put it and I wasn't expective to fall in love with either of these dresses but I did... strange how that works out! lol
i like the maggie one. it looks more contemporary and it's more flattering on you.
I think the Maggie is better looking for your figure (the side ruching is lovely on you), but I do see the point about boob beads. I think that it might depend on the type of photography... flashes directly at you will cause the beads to reflect and go "BEADS!" while if it's a softer bounced light then the effect is very pretty without screaming beads.
I think I tried on that Maggie, too... or one very similar. The beads were a lot of the reason I left it behind.
I almost ended up with the Maggie Sottero Adelaide. I LOVED that dress but even with the beading it wasn't quite enough for me. The adelaide looks fantastic with a veil with small beading around the edges.
Here is me in the Adelaide just for fun.

@caszos: I am so happy to see someone else in this dress! I am definately going to add a beaded veil... but with more sparkles. lol
@kfricke89: You're considering Maggie's Adelaide! That was my runner up dress; I LOVED it... it was so figure-flattering and I really liked the beading on the chest.
Needless to say, I voted for her. I love Maggie dresses, specifically that one. :)
@kfricke89: I still ended up with a Maggie, but I chose Vienna in the end because I just felt like it matched my personality a little better.
This is a pic of the sample, which was a 14 or a 16 ( I can't remember which), so the actualy dress should fit a little bette, and it should look more flared than it does here, but I wasn't wearing any sort of shapewear when I was trying on the samples.
Maggie!!!
Detail is amazing and it hugs your waist amazingly! =]
Now I'm curious... did you decide? What did you end up going with?

I can't decide between the Mori Lee or Maggie Sottero. The first one is the Mori Lee and the second one is the Maggie Sottero.
