What would most of your guests prefer?

I loooove crepes with fruit & cream cheese fillings. I haven’t tried any savory type crepes. I think most of my guests would prefer omelets.

Crepes! Then again, I’m not a fan of omelets. I love scrambled eggs, but I don’t like things in them.

I would prefer crepes, but I sure wouldn’t turn my nose at omelets, either!  Maybe set up a wedding website that your guests can vote on?

I voted for an omelet bar, though I do not like eggs. However, most people do! . I am not a fan of crepes either, and I think if you decided to go that route, it’s very risky and potentially wasteful (people not eating or eating and not finishing). However, pancakes are popular and safe and my favorite! 🙂

I would say a crepe bar and maybe some fresh fruit selections to go with.  People love bacon too, so maybe some savory to go with the sweet crepes.

I had no preference so I asked FH. He is the picky one when it comes to food. He said that he loves crepes but they arent filling enough for him and he would need to get another meal shortly after. He said adding a protein to the crepe would make it perfect but said thats not always possible to accommodate. He said that his only concern about omelets are how they are cooked, but hopefully he would be able to tell them how he wanted it.

Now that I think about it, I love crepes so I prefer that because they are sweet… but FH has more legit advice lol. Either would be more than fine for me!!!!

If you had an omelet bar I wouldn’t eat because I hate eggs with the fire of a thousand suns! I looove crepes though and I think you can go either sweet or savoury which is awesome. You could do sweet crepes with fresh fruit, syrup, chocoalte sauce, whipped cream, etc. Savoury you could do chopped up sausage, scrambled eggs, cheese, etc. That’s my vote!

I voted for crepes because you can cover all tastes with the sweet or savory options.  I think that along with fruit would be a light and refreshing option for your July wedding.  You could always add sweet and savory muffins too.  I really like the brunch idea.  🙂

I’d probably go for an omelet, but I wouldn’t mind a crepes bar. I’ve had both savory & sweet crepes and both are delicious

@collieblueeyes:  while I love (and voted) omlettes, I started to think about it and with my experience with crepes, they are probably better for your wedding because they can be BOTH savory and sweet (cheeses/meats or chocolate/nutella or fruits and whipped cream?! or anything!) so I would like to change my vote to crepes for their versatility!

It sounds so fun! I love breakfast!
