I am getting married there in August. I am going for my tasting on Tuesday. I will let you know how it goes. Mrs. Peacock's friend got married there and she posted a good review.
We had our engagement pictures done there, and they turned out beautifully!
I can't help you out with having a wedding there though because I don't know anyone who's gotten married there, but I guarentee it would be unbelievable. Good luck!

So, I went for my tasting and we were all really impressed. It originally made me nervous that you have to use the in house caterer but the food was great (well, except for the chicken but that always seems dry at weddings). Even in the winter, the place looks great. Let me know if you have anymore questions! By the way, make sure when you are booking that there are no concerts scheduled for your date. When we went last summer for a tour, Chris Issak was doing a sound check while a wedding was being set up. Your entire wedding has to move inside if there is a concert because it is very, very loud!

Hi everyone!
My fiance and I just visited the Arboretum as a possiable venue for our wedding. It's a beautiful location but I'm alittle concerned about how I would dress up the actual reception space (Ginko Room). Also we are thinking about also having our ceremony there as well. I'm curious if anyone has recently had a ceremony there and any other input on the location. Thanks!
I went to a wedding reception there about two years ago and it was BEAUTIFUL! The food was fantastic and it was a great space.
Hi! I am having my wedding at the Morton Arboretum a week from tommorrow (October 3rd). The venue is gorgeous, the food at our tasting was good, but the rental facility department is REALLY HARD to work with. They made promises to me that they aren't living up to...even breaking part of THEIR contract. It takes days and multiple phone calls to get them to follow up on anything. It feels like weddings and brides are their LOWEST priority...which is not a fun way to be feeling the week of my wedding. :(

I'm getting married at the Arboretum in a few months. I'm going to agree with the person that said brides seem like their lowest priority. I've had to adjust my expectations somewhat after I was told several times how busy they were and that I'd have to wait until after they slowed down to get any real attention. Facilities rental people are not that friendly from what I've noticed. I'm especially peeved about potentially not being able to rehearse there. That being said, its a really pretty site for a good price (winter wedding discount!) and if you aren't super fussy its a good choice! I just want to hear about amymarie108's wedding before mine happens!
Update ladies??? I'm kinda nervous after reading this! Would love to hear how everything went. We are considering it. Also, I wanted to have chicken for everyone? But not dry lol!
