I ordered dry moss aisle runners for the wedding. I was pretty excited to be using them until my family brought up some major concerns.
1) My bridesmaids’ heels may get stuck in the moss, making it easy for them to trip.<br />2) My tulle dress and veil may snag on the moss.
Do any of you have experience with this? They won’t be arriving in Canada until a day before the wedding, which is AFTER the wedding rehearsal!
Please Help! 🙂

I would be worried about it being kind of bumpy in some spots.
When you alter your dress you can have it altered so it is just slightly above the ground, so it won’t get caught. This is what I’m doing, as my “aisle” is brick, and my dress is tulle which tends to snag on everything.
As for your bridesmaids, maybe you could get them the heel protectors? They are meant so heels won’t sink in grass, but it might work for the moss as well.

jenilynevette: Thanks for your comment. I actually have a cathedral length veil and the ceremony will be held indoors. The heels won’t sink, but they might get caught. This is really going to be tricky! Hope someone who has used these aisle runners sees this thread too! 🙂

Just tell your girls to make sure they take each step individually and make sure they pick up their foot before taking the next step. Even if they do catch a heel momentarily, they won’t fall if they take one step at a time.
