For this type of moss, you may want to go to a florist and have them order it for you in bulk (it comes in sheets stacked in boxes), then you can cut it to the dimensions that you want. It's a very pretty idea!
Wow. That is a very unique centerpiece! Are those origami butterflies in the middle? I love green centerpieces. Moss is so lush. I also think that terrariums make fantastic living centerpieces that will also provide a gift to an attendant, relative or b'maid after the festivities end! Very lovely indeed.
This is the link to the post where I found the image. I think they are feather butterflies....I just think it is so perfect since my reception is inside a botanical gardens.

wow i'm in love with that idea... how gorgeous!! unfortunately i don't have any ideas how to create that, but let me know when you find out!!
I'm doing a moss display for my escort cards, but it doesn't look anything like this moss! I'm getting mine from Michael's...but a craft store might have some other options for you.
FYI - If anyone else is interested. I'm going to make these in 12" by 3' lengths for my rectangular tables.
I'm going to get flame resistant moss cloth from www.mossbarn.com and the butterflies from www.floraltrims.com and the rocks from the craft store.
I'll post a mock-up photo when I get all of the supplies!
I know you've already got alot of responses, and probably have solved your moss delima, but incase theres other moss-loving brides out there - check out www.Save-On-Crafts.com and www.mossunlimited.com - Save-On-Crafts has a TON of artificial, fresh, and preserved moss. They actually sell 14"x14" sheets just like the picture you posted. Moss unlimited, based in Forks, WA (YAY Twilight fans!) sells the best fresh moss with the least filler and dirt at the best prices I've seen around so far. I'll be using both places to order exactly what I need for our centerpieces, monogramed initials, ring pillow, cake table, and so on.
That is a really unique centerpiece! I'm curious to know if you made them & how they turned out!!

I love this moss centerpiece that I saw at Hostess with the Mostess. Does anyone know where I can get the moss part?
I was thinking of doing something similar with butterflies and add some candles.
