I call mine shmookie poo every now and then just to annoy him ;) hehe. but usually it's the ol' standard of "honey" or "sweets"
boopers and bapas... I have no idea how we came up with it but it stuck.
DoDo and BunBun. Don't remember how it started or why though. Sometimes "Scooby Doo where are you?" :)
I don't have any especially embarrassing ones for him, but when I'm being cranky or whiney he calls me Cranky McCrankerson..... not exactly a term of endearment, but it makes both of us laugh
Snoodle Oodle sometimes sneaks out. But I mostly call him "babs", which came from "baby", then "babby" then finally "babs" which has stuck...but makes him sound like a 65 year old chain smoking woman...and most people look at us funny.
These aren't as silly (and cute) as y'alls ... but
He calls me Smokey (like Okie Dokie Smokie) and my mom is always like -- Do you smoke honey?? No mom -- it's just a wierd nickname! He also calls me T Money, Sassy, and grumpy-pants
I guess I call him more silly lovely names! ha. Stud, Lover, Babydoll, or simply JT (two initials backwards).
We don't really have nicknames, though we do refer to each other as "dear" or "hon" more than our real names. I do call him my "giant kitten" sometimes, since he acts just like our cat when he's feeling cuddly and/or petulant.
Mr. Jasmine likes to call me "chickenpotpie" for some reason. I know he really likes chicken pot pie, so I take it as a compliment :)
I'm just gonna speak up here and say that I sure am glad I'm not the only grumpy bride on these boards!
I call my Hubby "Sweet." We don't really have embarassing names for each other, when I think of it!
My FI calls me babycakes
and variations of it, I have no clue where he got it from though. I dont really have anything for him, I'm going to have to work on that!
when we were in high school there was that milk commercial with the dad and baby and the dad said "hey boopee" to the baby and that western music came out, over who got the last of the milk -we thought that was so funny and he sometimes called me boopee back then when we were best friends. once we started dating in college it morphed into poopee. he is my poopee head i am his poopee face and sometimes we just go by poopoo. haha.
i have had my boyfriend for 2years and we have a very love hate relationship and our nicknames are "hynder(a horses butt) nd shaloupa( a mexican food). even tho these are weird names and ppl look at us lk were on crack in public.. we stil love eachother. I LOVE YOU HYNDERRRR<3![]()
I call mine FI "lovemuffin". I even have his contact saved in my phone as that. He doesnt really have a set nickname for me, sometimes he says "my most beautiful".
Dodi and BeePoo
He started calling me "dodo" which I told him he couldn't do because it sounded like he was calling me stupid, so he changed it to Dodi (which, unbeknownst to him at the time means "my beloved" in Hebrew, but neither of us are Jewish). I called him "honey" all the time, and when I complained about "dodo" he said, "Well it's not any worse than you calling me honey, think about what honey is, it's BEE POO!" And it stuck.
Only in private: He calls me Goober or Gooberbottom for reasons I know not. I call him Texy (A combination of Texan and Sexy) Bubboo (this one is a common cultural nickname amongst some south asians). Other terms of endearment we use: honey, sweetie, sweetie pie, schnookums, hottie mchotterson, silly goosehead, and baby.
He calls me Pea (Sweet pea, we are two peas in a silly kind of pod). And I call him Tato (I accidently wrote on his first Valentines card cutie potato instead of cutie patootie. So somehow tato stuck). Now we have all sorts of veggie jokes. hehe
He calls me babycakes and pookie
I call him love, lover and babes(not baby!).
Nothing crazy or unusual!
I call him baby, honey, hon, babe, etc. He doesn't really seem to like it or dislike it. He calls me honey. And I love it when he does. :) It's so weird to hear him address me by my name. I mean, it's usually just the two of us so there's not really ever a reason to say each other's names.
my fis last name starts with Bach and hes in the army and thats what they call him. so I started calling him my lil bach bach and it stuck now he signs his emails LBB its a good joke now
Nothing embarrasing but i like to call him Big Sexxi and he likes to call me Big Gurl or Mammas. Not that either 1 of us are big though.

Somebody did a post about this several months ago, but I decided it's high time for another go at it...
What's your most embarrassing nickname for your SO/FI/DH?
Mine for Mr. B is 'Wub" (ie a gross mispronunciation of 'Love'), and I've been known to call him "Teppertoni" on occasion (no apparent logic behind this one--his name's not Tony or anything!) :-D
Now I've shared mine; so you've gotta 'fess up about yours! :-)
