Stationary is the main thing on the front of my mind lately. Save-the-Dates have officially been sent to all recipients and, thanks to the crafty brides on Wedding Bee, I was inspired to stretch my creative muscle & design MY OWN save-the-date. I'm pretty proud of it:
The photo was taken by a good friend & great local wedding photographer. He made Mr. C & I look great :)
The super cute text was generated by Wedding Chicks. These ladies know what all brides really love - free stuff!! All I had to do was enter my & Mr. C's information, wedding colors & wedding info and *poof* there was an adorable image that was mine, all mine!!! I saved it to my handy dandy USB drive and now I can use it anywhere I want.
Then, I just opened up my Publisher program and put everything together... and saved the file of course.
Once that was just the way I wanted, I surfed on over to Vistaprint. Have you been there yet? This site offers high quality product at a very reasonable price - some are free. I was able to upload my Publisher design, pick the amount of cards & envelopes I needed, and the save-the-dates were actually printed & delivered BEFORE the projected date. Isn't that amazing?
All in all, Mr. C & I are very happy with the finished product & already getting rave reviews from family & friends...
