- Wedding: October 2011
I am getting a bit irritated with Fiance. I really wanted him to go with me to look at tuxedos WEEKS ago! Tomorrow marks the 6 wks before our wedding, and while it is not “wedding season” in October, everthing says we should have already done this task.
Now, we had planned to go look tomorrow and then he and the boys were going to get fitted and order them next week.
Last night I was informed that all the boys were having lunch on Saturday afternoon to discuss the bachelor party!! AND that Fiance was planning on doing tuxedo shopping in TWO or THREE weeks!
I am stressed about things getting done and all that, and it just makes me think that he does not have his priorities straight! I would think the tuxedo is more important but he makes me feel like the damn party is more important, because he wants to go drink with his buddies. Which brings up another point, bridal showers are for gifts (usually) and so are some bachelorette parties, what the hell is a bachelor party for? Especially when Fiance gets drunk with his buddies every Thursday night (we do guys night/girls night every week). So really? What’s the point? THe guys don’t buy the man gifts? THey buy him alcohol and lap dances!
Ok, sorry, little rant there, but my main point of this post is to ask, when should the tuxedos be ordered? Is 6 weeks too soon or too late?
