im trying to figure out what three mothers are suppose to wear without it looking like a bad… my mom i want in silver or gold i think. dad is wearing army uniform–so red color is out cuz christmas isnt happening in june. lol. fmil i think a shade of blue will be okay. and fstep mil a light purple– fil will be wearing grey suit purple tie(he is the best man)
does this sound okay??
i will be taking each mom out on a seprate trip to find them a dress.. no way in hell will all three moms and me will be out on one trip.. i can handle my mom and future step mom fine( we done dinners and lots of get togethers the three of us just fine… its fmil that i cant handle.. lol

I think as long as all three dresses are the appropriate formality, then you should be okay. You should go with your mother first and find her dress, because the mother of the bride sets the tone for the mother of the groom (and thus, the step mother of the groom, too). Silver or gold for your mother will look really classy with the Army uniform, so good call there!
Just keep in mind your wedding colors, because they flowers will likely have some sort of shade of your wedding colors in them, and you wouldn’t want them to completly clash with the dresses (assuming you’re getting flowers for all the mothers)
