Alfred Angelo is fairly in expensive — that’s where my mom and FMIL will most likely be getting their dresses from. There’s quite a few to choose from, a wide variety of colors and they’re really rather cute and classy. Good luck!

A lot of bridal salons in the area have MOTB dress sections too, so you might want to check those out.

I would even try Nordstroms or Lord & Taylor – often off the rack stuff is less expensive than bridal salons.

That is a darling dress. I wish momma hot sauce would wear something like that but she’s too self conscious of her weight and height.

Now that my dress is settled, we’re on to looking for my Mom’s.

She keeps gravitating towards black and I told her that (along with the obvious white) is a no-no from everything I’ve read about it.

Are there other guidelines on Mother of the Bride dresses/attire?
