I always like "I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You" by Savage Garden. I've heard it at a couple of weddings and it isn't too blah.
THere is also "Through The Years" By Kenny Rogers, "I Turn To You" by Christina Aguilara, "Song For Mama" by Boyz II Men, and some new one I haven't heard being hailed as the perfect song: "A Mother's Song" by T Carter Music.
My fiance is using "Vienna" by Billy Joel. "Forever Young" is a good one too.
My guy loved "simple man" by Leonard Skynard. he chose a cover by shinedown. The words are soo great. It is a bit too long so the DJ will have to cut it down a bit.
My husband used Joan Baez's rendition of Forever Young...lovely.
Angels by Randy Travis - listen to it past the first verse and you will LOVE it!

My FI and his mother can not figure out what song to dance to for the wedding. My Fi is not a country music fan, so he's looking for something up beat. Also, my FMIL is emotional, so we're trying to find something that she won't cry her eyes out to. hehe : ) Does anyone have any ideas?
