Why is she at a concert, in the pit, with a baby?  It just seems dangerous for the baby…

I was going to say that I was more concerned about the baby’s ears than anything else, which is also kind of what the police were telling her. I have zero problems with a mom BFing in public, but I’m not sure that’s what this was really about. Concert security may have told her not to BF, which I don’t think is the right thing to do, but the police were there for a welfare check. I don’t know if kicking her out was the right move, but they did offer to have her move to another spot with seats where I’m sure she would have continued BFing.

I think the lady is an ass to begin with for bringing her infant child into a pit area where her ear drums could be damaged or the child could be injured by other patrons standing close by. If you want to bring your baby go for it but sit in a safe location (like a seated area) and bring ear protection. She’s just fishing for a lawsuit and people like that disgust me.

She’s trying to turn the situation into something it’s not. Maybe the first security guard did tell her to stop breastfeeding, but maybe he told her to stop because he thought she would be able to get out of there faster. She shouldn’t have been in the pit at a concert for many reasons. The crowds get rowdier down there, and it’s the loudest down there. Her baby could have been crushed, injured, or sustain hearing loss.
