The night before our ultrasound I had a dream we had a boy and actually had been suspecting for awhile we were having a boy.....but then ultrasound said girl and the ultrasound was right.
I did end up having a dream about a month before she was born what day she would be born and told my husband very angrily that I was going to be overdue. I didn't believe it for a second that the dream would be right, especially since everyone thought I was having her early, but she was born the day I dreamt.
I had a strong feeling that mine was a boy and I was right! I just couldnt picture myself with a girl at all and no girl names sounded good to me. It was so weird!
I knew we were having a boy as soon as I found out I was pregnant. When I told my parents my dad said you will have a boy, and I said I know I can feel it's a boy already. FI thought bub was a girl and thought I was crazy for just knowing it was a boy, even when I would talk about bub I would call it a 'he'. Then when we had the ultrasound and asked if we wanted to know the sex I said I already knew it was a boy, my FI laughed and when the technician said 'yes, its a boy' FI was gobsmacked! Then when our LO was born, he was a boy :)
before i got pregnant, i always assumed i'd have a girl. i don't know why. my husband and i always pictured our first baby as a girl, had names picked out and everything. once i got pregnant, it hit me like a freight train around week 8: i was having a boy. i was so sure and even had dreams about it! sure enough i'm having a boy! i believe in it 100%!
I thought my daughter was a girl and had a million dreams that she was a girl and (obviously) she's a girl! But after the ultrasound confirmed she was a girl I had three dreams that the ultrasound had been wrong and I had a boy (which obviously didn't happen.)
I was so sure that I was having a boy. I was completely convinced. But my daugther is 100% a girl. We even checked twice when she was born because we couldn't believe it. We didn't check the gender in the ultrasound.
FSIL was 100% sure it was a boy, about a week out I had a dream it was a girl and couldn't picture the baby being a boy at all. It was a girl :)
She honestly would have bet a large sum of money on it being a boy so I don't think the mommy instinct is necessarily right.
I started getting feelings that our LO was a girl around 8-10 weeks, and couldnt even FATHOM the idea that it could have been a boy. Its a girl. I just had this overwhelming "know" inside. it was so bizarre
im 25 weeks and we are team green but i have a very strong feeling that we are going to have a girl. i dream about it being a girl every night. i even have a bet saying if it is born a boy i will run around the hospital naked bc i have such a strong feeling. with my luck it will be a boy!
I have been wrong three out of three times. It is kind of funny really. I never have gender confirmed by ultrasound so have always been shocked.
At week 8, I knew we were having a boy. Everyone, except for me & my pawpaw, thought i was having a girl. DH would have bet money on it. I just had this overwhelming feeling that we were having a baby boy. My anatomy scan at 18 wks confirmed that my instincts were right!! I also had another anatomy scan b/c baby wouldnt cooperate & 2 4D ultrasounds that all confirm we're having a boy! :)
I felt like I was having a boy... in fact I felt so strongly I was having a boy that I started to really want a boy and since I never get what I want I planned for them to tell me it was a girl (I even picked out girl names) but when we had our ultrasound and IT WAS A BOY! =D I was right from the start!
Everybody told me that I was having a boy. Literally, everyone. Even my 5 year old niece, when we asked her she said "I'd like it to be a girl but it's a boy." But I still felt like I was having a girl, and sure enough it was!
Before this pregnancy I miscarried at 6 weeks, but didn't find out till 12 weeks, so it was too soon to know the sex. I still swear it was a boy though. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I just know he was a boy.
I felt from the get go that it was a girl. There was never a doubt in my mind it was a girl (until the day of the ultrasound and I got panicked wondering if I was wrong). She is a girl. I like to think it's intuition, but really, I had a 50/50 shot at being right. The odds were good I'd guess correctly.
I have no idea and am so ready to pop this kid out because I just want to know NOW! Love being Team Green, but seriously, curiosity is getting me.
I was totally sure it was a girl, which was confirmed by an ultrasound. I don't know how much was intuition though and how much was just, you know, that I had a 50% chance of being right.
This is funny timing for this post because my friend was just telling me that "you just know." She said they were team green the first time, and she was so sure she was having a boy she bought tons of boy things. She was right. Who knows. I've "felt" we're having a girl ever since before I found out I was pregnant... I know that sounds weird but I felt it before I even tested. We'll see... we're team green so it's gonna be a long wait!!
For our first I really liked the idea of having a girl, even tried to convince myself that our baby would be a girl--in fact tons of family kept saying "oh you're so small/carrying so high, it will definitely be a girl!" (we were team green) but deep down I knew/felt we were having a boy, to the point that I had to tell my mum to stop buying frilly things.
We had a boy :)
Oddly enough when bth my siblings were preggo, I guessed they would both have girls and they did, so maybe I am just intuitive/lucky?
As for now, we're still in our TWW, so we won't be guesing anything until we know if we have a BFP or not.

I was just wondering how many of you Mommy bees had an instinct about the gender of the baby before it was confirmed? And if you did, was it right?
I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow, and my anatomy scan is right at 18 weeks. For the last month or so, I have had this overwhelming feeling that the baby is a girl. Like enough that everytime my hubby says something about it being a boy (because that's what he is hoping for), I correct him and tell him that I'm pretty positive it's a girl. So I guess I'm looking to the already moms to see if I'lll probably completely surprised in two weeks or not.
