And ideas for this?
Trying to figure out the rest of our music for the day. Pretty sure we’re set with recessional, first dance and father daughter. I need to make up my mind for prelude & processional tunes but have NO idea what to do for Fiance & his mom.

I suggested that my fiance and his mom dance to “Simple Man” … they’re pretty big into country and I think its a nice song…

Fiance and his mom are doing “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King. I’m 110% promising you that I will cry – it’s a beautiful song.

My fiance is not big on slow dancing, so I thought Sheryl Crow’s version of Sweet Child O’ Mine might be good.

I need to figure something out for this too… I left it up to him be he’s a typical guy who doesn’t care. Keep the suggestions coming, these are good ones!

I thought I was the only one who was coming with a song for the Mothe/son dance! lol…. I suggested to him that they dance to Stevie Wonder “I just called to say I love you” since he is THE WORST with calling his parents, I always have to remnd him to call them!! and he likes it!

Maybe ask his mom if there are songs that remind her of him? Or are there songs people have written about children that feature his name? (Sweet Baby James and songs like that come to mind)
Good general gender neutral parent/child songs are Emily’s Song by Moody Blues, Carole King’s Child of Mine and Dar Williams The One Who Knows.
