Ok, so I think in writing this, I can read it daily myself, is motivation enough for me so I can see how off track I have gotten.
I will admit, with shame, that tonight will be the first night I will be going back to the gym since getting married….on July 4th! No matter what, preengagement whatever, I always-for the last 10+ years, had worked out at least 4 times a week. But something happened and DH and I, well to put it simply, became lazy and comfortable. Now granted, we are super busy but enough is enough! Luckily I have only gained about 5 lbs (well from a scale I trust, we will see later..) which I can fluctuate that anytime, but I have lost all tone that I loved and worked my tail off for.
Alright so its time to quit yapping and get to work! Now our diet and daily consumption of some sort of fast food has got to stop too but our schedules are so sticky right now, we will have to take it one day at a time! LOL 🙂

I’m with ya! I was such a slacker post-wedding and gorged on carbs and butters.
I’m currently sitting around in gym shorts and a sports bra as my motivation to go to a 5:45 turbokick class. I’m already dressed, right? LOL.
Join the crowd–i’ve got 5 more pounds to go to my happy weight. =]. You can do it!

Sometimes it’s so hard to be motivated! I find for me, the hardest thing is just GOING! If you can get in the car and drive to the gym, you’re over the hardest part. Also, the after fitness feeling? ONe of the best feelings ever, because you have that rush from endorphins and the “I accomplished something!” glow!

Thanks! I just am always finding so many excuses as to why not to go, so enough is enough!
Well, just got home and now I am sore and tired and not happy with the scale. Hate those darn things! I think I picked the wrong week too if you know what I mean! Oh well, got to keep on trucking!
I’ve done that too, get dressed to go and magically on the way to the gym make a turn to go shopping or something else!
