I am making my own invites, similar to Cards and Pockets.  I am using double sided tape/glue that has a permanent adhesive and used it to attach my pockets and mats onto my invites, and to make envelopes.  I plan to use the same to attach the invite onto the mat.  The tape can be found at craft stores like Michael’s.  It’s called MONO Adhesive Permanent.

I also forgot to mention that I applied the adhesive to both sides.  After I assembled my pockets and envelopes, I placed them between two heavy books to make them flat and help the adhesive a bit more.  The pockets are sticking and will only come off if you try to rip it off.  Good luck!

@brandif1026: I’ve used double sided permanent tape, but that gets expensive. Right now, I’m using Beacon 3 n 1 and it has worked great for all my invitations. Make sure to put your invitations under some weight (a heavy book) to make sure that it stays.
