(Closed) move chairs after ceremony?

@krex:  I don’t know how common it is, but i did this following my ceremony.  I just asked some close relatives (uncles, cousins) and since we did a recieving line while the chairs were being moved, I don’t think anyone was left without a chair (the line moves fairly slowly).  Also, I made sure the bartender would be ready immediately following the ceremony.  I figured people were fine standing around as long as they had a drink.  Just make sure there are already a few chairs in the reception area for elderly relatives.

@krex:  I am doing my ceremony and reception in the same courtyard. We are going to have our officiant simply ask guests to carry them back to their tables. I think it’s fine. I have also been to other weddings where they did this.
