Nice! Sounds like a blast, honestly! I’d love to give that a whirl. The studio in my town recently closed down, which is a bummer. Maybe I’ll see what Groupon brings me!

Sounds great….anything that motivates us and gives up a great outlook of our bodies is always a plus.

I’ve really been wanting to try this!  I guess I’ve just been nervous to take the plunge.  But I did buy a Groupon deal for a 2-hour trapeze lesson, and THAT is something I recommend to everyone!  It was super scary to be up so high on the platform at first but after the two hours were up all I could think about was when I could do it next.  Plus my arms, abs, and shoulders ached for a solid 4 days so I know it was a great workout.  You should look into it!!

I would LOVE to do these someday.  As soon as I lose some weight (seriously, I’m VERY over weight) and gain some strength, I plan on signing up.

I bought classes through groupon also and I had a blast! I seriously have no moves, but I had so much fun!

@kinneybride:  You seriously just wrote my entire experience including gymnast/cheerleader to personal training, the only thing is that I’ve taken one class lol. But I loved it, I felt goofy (even though I was the only student in the room with the instructor) I think because I was so used to having such choreographed routines that it made it a little more difficult for me. Either way I had an amazing time, I signed up for a 6 week class immediately after, and for the first time I felt this huge confidence. I walked out of the studio with a pep in my step and didn’t bother to load my sweats back on over my shorts, it was a great feeling. And FI can tell how happy just the one class made me and how excited I get when I mention my class coming up… I think it’s going to be great for both of us.

I definitely recommend it to anyone who can get the chance to try it. I’d love to have my girlfriends do it for a bachelorette!

@dfontaine07:  I’m so glad to have someone else share my joy of this workout! It has really been great for my FI and I’s relationship. Confidence can make such a difference!! Especially in the bedroom 🙂 I think a lot more women should embrace these classes as an opportunity as self-therapy! And just a kick ass workout.  Good for you!

Pole dancing is good times! I actually have a professional grade pole in my living room. (I’m friends with LOTS of strippers, lol). Now that my broken ankle is healed I can’t wait to get back to working out in the spring. And it’s super nice being able to do it in the comfort of my own home.

I love it! I haven’t been able to go for almost 2 weeks  since my last class w/ being out of town for wedding things & getting the flu… It is going to be hard but I love it so much. & I totally agree about the confidence and FI is loving it. I think it will make me feel so much more comfortable on the beach at our honeymoon too.
