I’m 13w and I keep feeling these little “bubbles”….I’ve been blaming it on gas (something that is not in short supply, haha), but the more it happens, the more I’m not sure that it’s gas. I don’t really feel it when I’m up and moving around, but when I’m lying in bed or sitting still, I can feel it sometimes.
I don’t want to put a label on it, because who wants to get overly excited about gas, but I’m just wondering if it’s happened to others? Oh, and this is my first baby, so I have no clue what to expect in this department.

Most women will first feel it between 13 to 25 weeks so it is possible. But the earlier detection ususally does not happen to first-time moms so it may just be gas. I probably started feeling twinges before I knew what they were. I was maybe 22 weeks when it really could not be denied that what I was feeling was the baby.
One day, you will feel something & there will absolutely no denying what it is & that is a great experience. It was really fun for me and I was happy I hadn’t been “forcing” it and didn’t “try” too hard to feel her b/c our minds are powerful and can play tricks on us. It was exciting to know without a doubt that I had a little being inside of me that I could actually feel rather than simply “sense”.
I actually think my favoritew part of being pregnant has been her hickups, they are so cute & tickle my insides, it’s a really cute feeling.

It’s very possible that it’s the baby. My sister started feeling my nephew (her one and only baby) right at 13 weeks. I didn’t start feeling my LO (I’m seven months pregnant) until I was 20 weeks. So it is very possible!

For me the early twinges didn’t feel like gas, it felt more like a tiny muscle spasm. It started getting more noticeable around 15 weeks for me. I think it took me a while to to identify it because I kept waiting for the “gas-like” feeling and I was having these crazy muscle spasms that ended up being my baby!
