Ok Ladies,
I just watched the notebook... and I can not stop crying....
with that said what movies make you cry I mean balling... LOL
@KevinsWife: haha it's silly but the Harry Potter movies make me cry. I love the Notebook!
DH and I and my stepkids all cried while watching "Courageous" this weekend. DH and I watched it last weekend for the first time without the kids, and we cried even more the first time we saw it.
Stepmom, Beaches, Marley and Me.
I saw the trailer for The Pursuit of Happyness and cried uncontrolably, I never did watch the movie. LOL
The notebook
Marley and me
The time traveler's wife (although I cried more with the book)
The persuit of Happyness (OMG I dehidrate with that one)
I'm Legend (that scene when the doggie dies... unbearable)
The first 8 minutes of Up. And I am NOT kidding. I challenge anyone in love to watch that first sequence in the movie of their love story and NOT cry.
@rubyroad10: It's impossible. We just watched and I thought it wouldn't bother me but nope. I was a bucket of tears.
@hisgoosiegirl: Yes! Steel Magnolias! I actually had that in my comment, but I ended up deleting it, since I wondered if very many of the younger bees have even seen it. I cried my eyes out during that movie when I saw it years ago in the theater. Sally Field did an amazing job in that film.
@rubyroad10: I agree! I was bawling like a little baby the first time I saw up!
Marley and Me, The Notebook, My sisters keeper!
@ Brielle Couragous was good
@ JessesGirl The Pursuit of Happyness that is a teark jerker

I am so with you in regards to Up - I cried too. I have a list :-S Think I'm a bit of a greeter lol
Up; Toy Story 3; My Girl; Beaches; Mars Needs Moms;
I could go on lol
@rubyroad10: I was in the theater wearing 3D glasses over my regular glasses and I was crying like a baby. I stopped trying to wipe my tears after a few minutes when I realized everyone was also tearing up.
-Lion King. That scene when Mufasa dies, it marked my childhood.
hahahahahaha,
@Coffee cup:, @Scottish_lassie:, @theredhead:, @Brielle: Y'all, it was NOT pretty. I started ugly crying and gasping for air in the theatre. FI was to literally grab my hand and ask if I needed water. It was a sight, that's for sure. And I NEVER get like that!
@Brielle: The first time I saw it was late one night in college hanging out in DH's room. I'd heard of it, but never seen it. Ugh, I avoid it now, lol, just cause it makes me so sad!
So silly of me but I could watch the saddest movies ever and not shed a tear, but if a dog gets hurt or killed, I'm a damn waterfall. It's the weirdest thing! I cant control it! The only movies I've ever cried at: My Dog Skip (when the dog got hit in the had with a shovel) and I Amm Legend (when the dog dies). I'm PATHETIC!
@Coffee cup: OH I balled during I am Legend when he had to kill the dog! Will Smith is my favorite actor. He makes me tear up in pretty much anything he is in! lol
I haven't watched most of these movies for fear of having the tears pouring down my face.
UP without a doubt.
Horse Whisperer, tears are falling before anything happens because I know what will happen.
Lion King
War Horse
Most any movie.. Every single David Tutera show too (I know, I know! It's TV)
I swear, any of the Korean movies that FI and I watch together ALWAYS make me cry!
Beaches - I watched it today!
My Girl for sure, A Walk to Remember, Ghost....actually, I always cry at Mrs. Doubtfire when the judge says he can't see his kids at the end. Gah!
Oh, and "Titanic" the first time I saw it. I was a sniveling mess, and I was sad for the entire weekend.
Fried Green Tomatoes, Schindler's List (obviously), Anne of Green Gables, Little Women (Beth!!!), Dead Poets Society, the beginning of UP, all the Toy Story movies, Waitress and Juno when I'm pregnant.
I hated The Notebook and cannot figure out the hype!
dragonfly with kevin costner. the ending gets me every time.
august rush. beautiful movie. i keep the tissue handy.
road to perdition. tom hanks acted his butt off. beautful father son relationshp. ending is a tearjerker.
edit: i watched war horse recently. beautiful ending. got a little watery eyed.
legends of the fall with brad pitt. super sad.
@KatyElle: omg Little Women and Anne of Green Gables!!!!!!!! Love those two! My mom and I always started bawling when she finally realizes she needs to be with Gil!
I cry at the Notebook because I love the story and the ending......I can't imagine growing older and losing DH someday.....so I want their ending.
Oh and E.T. of course. My god those kids could act the shit out of that movie! I cry during practically the entire thing, Elliot's scene when E.T. is dying crushes me!
A Walk to Remember , My Girl the funeral scene gets me everytime.
P.S I Love You
@hisgoosiegirl: Gahhh, when Matthew dies. I can't handle it! Those movies were my favourite growing up, we even went to PEI and saw the house when I was younger. *swoon* oh Gilbert....
@Juliepants: I need to watch them again.......loved them so much growing up.
"there she weaves by night and day, a magic web of colors gay"
I was totally a nerd and memorized that poem becaus of the stupid movie!
@Juliepants: "You were always my little girl"
*SOB* Matthew was the best, he bought her the dress with puffed sleeves!
It doesn't take much for me to cry. I bawled watching those Fancy Feat commercials with the couple getting married, having a baby, etc. I've cried watching Duracell commercials, I cried during Elf, and so many more. But the ones that made me absolutely madly cry were Stepmom and Marley and Me.
I watched The Notebook for the first time a few years after it came out, and was sure I would be immune to the hype...and then at the very end, I went and crawled into DH's labp and sobbed for like a half hour. It's actually getting ready to come on, and I'm not sure that watching it while pregnant is the best idea.
The opening sequence of Up, a few scenes in Toy Story 3 (the first time we watched it, DH and I just clutched each other and cried), the scene from I Am Legend when he shoots the dog, Dancer in the Dark, My Girl...I'm sure there are more, but these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
It's a Wonderful Life, To Kill a Mockingbird, Steel Magnolias, Hearts in Atlantis...
Newer movies? I'm with the fans of Up, Sex and the City (New Year's Eve montage, and when Samantha feeds Carrie after break-up.) and Life is Beautiful.
Forrest Gump (this one gets me in an ugly cry EVERY time)
Beaches
Steel Magnolias
And most recently... War Horse. I actually cried the whole way through the movie.
katyelle ... I asked my mom to make me my First Communion dress with "puff sleeves" so I could be just like Anne! What a great movie!!
