I actually cry during so many movies. But UP is definitely one of the worst. I am sobbing and then laughing and then sobbing again.

  • The Notebook – when she remembers him, oh I sob!
  • Les Miserables – damn that movie! I was a wreck in the cinema.
  • Marley and Me – I have never cried harder during a movie.
  • P.S. I Love You – the song she plays at his funeral is one my Fiance and I share, so that gets me everytime
  • Fried Green Tomatoes – I cry in the first 5 minutes!

The Notebook….when Noah and Allie fight. He says….

Wicker Park …with Josh Hartnett and Lisa Krueger. The ending made my husband cry, hahhahha, a must see for all hopless romantics.

and an old 80’s one that we watched once really late at night was “She’s Having a Baby” with Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth McGovern. It’s about newlywed couple, buy a home, pregnant with their first and he gets tempted to cheat. But you have to see ending, made me cry. Lol.

@MrsDPal811:  I’m a really sensitive/emotional person, so I’ve cried over a lot of movies (and TV shows, books, and songs!).

Some that immediately come to mind:

Requiem for a Dream: I usually cry through this entire movie.  Most people I know say they could never watch it more than once.  I love this movie and own it, but I will only watch it if I’m in the mood for a good cry.  It’s so depressing!

District 9: When I watched this, I didn’t expect to cry.  The end was heartbreaking, though.

Dancer in the Dark: I cried for a long time after this movie ended.  The whole story is very sad, but the ending was what made me cry like a little baby.

Lilya 4-Ever: Again, an overall depressing story that just broke my heart.

Never Let Me Go: I really want to read the book after seeing the movie.  I can’t say much about it without spoiling it, but it was great … And so sad.

28 Days Later: I know this is a really odd movie to make someone cry, but when Jim is at his parents house and finds them and their letter to him … Oh my God.  Gets me every time.

I could probably list at least 100 more movies, but those were the ones I immediately thought of.

I’m such a crier. Marley and Me was on TV in the afternoon a few months back and I turned it off because I’ve heard how sad the ending is.

A lot of animated movies get me for some reason. This one doesn’t get mentioned much, but I totally bawl at the end of Tangled.

Other animated movies I could mentioned are Toy Story 3, Up, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Toy Story 2, Ice Age, Shrek, most of them really 🙂 And without naming characters (for fear of spoilers), the last 2 Harry Potter movies.

Apart from what has already been said – Red Dog.

If you haven’t seen it, watch it.
