Is there anyone else out there that is moving to where you Fi lives right after the wedding? I am an Alaskabee... who will be leaving on a jetplane, to move to ND within 18 hours of being married.

talk about a huge change. :)

I have lived in AK for my whole life, and this is going to be a huge difference..

I think that I might be a bit lonely at first. :(

We had something similar but sort of different. We moved almost right after the wedding to a completely new state that neither of us knew or knew anyone in. He has started meeting people from work but I'm still a bit lonely with only "school friends" to keep me company. I'm sure your new husband will show you around to all his local friends!

yes, I am sure he will...

But he is moving there in January, and we are getting married in March...

So I guess that we will be able to spend alot of time together which will be great, because we will have spent less than two weeks together in the 11 months leading up to the wedding...

:P I think just *think* we might be a little busaaay..

lol.

But that doesn't take care of friends. ha

I'm doing exactly this! I currently live in MO and he lives in MD. We are getting married in TN, going on our honeymoon and then back to TN to move all my stuff to MD! I'll live with him in his current apartment for a month (with a roommate unfortunately, but he's cool) and we'll find our own place for when his lease is up at the beginning of August. Talk about stressful! But I am so excited :)

I will be moving a few weeks after the wedding. I am in the process of packing up my house, donating things I won't need, etc. etc. We are getting married in December, spending Christmas in Florida, and then I will coming back to Charlotte in order to give notice and finish preparations to make that move to Charleston, SC. This will be a hectic few months.
