I am looking for advice on bees on how to “keep the spark” and actually how to mantain a LDR now that I’m moving to a different continent to study my Masters. We have lived together for 4 years, been married for 2 and a half and been together for 9. He completely supported me on my decision to study but he couldn’t go because I’m doing it on a scholarship. While I’m pretty confident in the strenght of our relationship, I want your tips on making this easier. I am also looking for any tips on some kind of special, great, “see you in haf a year” gift (like weekly letters, signing him up to a monthly box or something like that)

eclipse: across the continents must be not easy due to the time difference. My DH and I have been in LDR enarly two years (bot two years straight however) with 3 h time difference and no possibility for opten visits due to visa & expensive flights. What I loved most is getting snacks and watching a movie together on Skype. We also talked on skype every single day & kept texting throughout the day to be up to date with each others activities. Quite often we kept skype on for the night. Good luck to you two!

mrs2014: Thank you! I was just looking online for some other apps, but so far I think we are staying with whatsapp and skype as well!
