I sent out a generic, mass email yesterday with our website URL. Mrs. Crazy sent me an email back:
Virginia, thank you so very very much for sending this to us. It just makes it so much easier to get plans together. I am so happy for you two. When we think of (your fiance), we think of (our dead son). (Your fiance) truly is a son to us now and we love him dearly.
Mr. and Mrs. Crazy
Hmmmm…..Do I respond?

No., unless it is just, “You are so welcome.”
Crazy likes bait.

Seems like a normal enough response to me (given the history here).
I don’t think you need to send anything back, but if you want to, I’d just say something like “You’re welcome – we look forward to seeing you at the wedding!”

“When we think of (your fiance), we think of (our dead son).”
…..didn’t she just pop back up unexpectedly? She must not have been thinking of him that often. Yep..she’s crazy. Don’t even respond.

Ohh and she didnt respond to your email.. so you dont have to respond to hers. She can also find you on facebook 😉

How creepy… I don’t think you need to respond!

I think it’s better to let this die or send a short response like PP have suggested.
I selfishly want you to respond because I love following the Mrs. Crazy drama 🙂

This email doesn’t sound like it’s starting a conversation, just a note in response to your website – I don’t think you need to respond.

Let it die… she is truly crazy.
Wow, the thing about reminding them of dead son, and your Fiance is a son now… what?! a son they haven’t talked to in YEARS?!?!

I don’t think you need to respond, but I also don’t really see too much wrong with her response. It’s a little clingy, but at least she’s being nice and loving and pleasant.
