Do you have any potential names or are you starting with a totally blank slate?
Totally blank slate.... I've tried for a month but all the names I thought of didnt like.
Then I also thought I could go french - like parisian style and
name my blog sections for example
About (Exposé ) Portfolio ( À la Carte) Reviews (Manifique or Chapeau)
I even checked some common french and english words:

Have you tried asking Mrs. Lovebug? She has such a way with works so maybe she can help?
I didnt really want to bother her since she is busy - actually shes the one that told me about Modish being a known blog. She felt bad bursting my bubble... but im glad she did.
Have you already rejected the more cliched french terms? C'est Magnifique, La Vie En Rose, stuff like that?
No.... Sarah. Right now im just writting down all kinds of names and will eliminate. Theres something cute about C'est Magnifique....

Which is the sort of Glamour and the french word for THIS (Glamourthis.... GLAMCECI)
Sounds like you've got something, but I like the French word bisous (Kiss)... Glamceci is great too. Does it translate correctly?
Seriously... am I going abou it the wrong way?
Should I have a name that doesnt say glam or glamour? So that if in 10years lets say I don't feel so glamourous well at least my name won't be associated with it.
So difficult for sure, I still say ask Mrs. Lovebug even if she is busy, maybe you can help her in some way? I can't remember where I found it, but I was reading somewhere the other day someone talking about all the ideas they had for blog names, I think it was on the boards here...where is that clever person to help?
I really do believe that you should go with your gut... You have great instincts :)

Hi everyone! So your probably guessed it from the title of the post... Im in need of some serious help to come up with a company name. I am a graphic designer but would like to expand some of my services.... Now my issue is that my name needs to be bilingual (french and english) so it either needs to be a made up name or a french word that english speaking people understand or use.
Let me explain a little what I am searching for.

I would like to move current blog (wordpress) to blogger and want it to be GLAMOUR THIS! (official blog of xxxx (my company name here)
I have 3 subtitles (bilingual - thank goodness) for my company
I am a fan of anything glamour and chandeliers. I don't know it that helps in any way. I had thought of the name MODISH but realized that it is used by a famous blog and when you think of it MODISH - means à la mode (sort of flavor of the month) and I want my designs to be timeless in a sense.
I don't want to have the word designs in my company name.... cuz its overdone. I don't my having a word and modify certain letters for example ( m*dish) I don't want to use my name either (Kelly De Luca)
