@corgs:LMAO!! i think it will be one long arse post of everything because in my mind things are mostly planned and notwithstanding all the crap that came up this month i would have thought it was sooner than later... now i think it'll be sometime in the net year.

I don't really know what is up with all the "status changes" and all. I know about it but for me, status change would be like from single to engaged or married or something.

LOL!! I didn't ask him, I simply said wow you changed your FB status, I liked it so much that I changed mine. It could have nothing to even do with the proposal or anything like that. he is going through a lot of stuff right now and i think that it is referring to it... but who knows lol

@everyone else:i just sent him an email asking (he's at work) he'll probably say what do you mean what did i mean by it lol!! and i still dont' think th proposal is coming that soon... financially i don't think we can afford it.

Well at least it keeps you on your toes! I sometimes wonder if my FI messes with me because he knows I am constantly saying, "What does you MEAN by that???"

Is it possible he'll do it before you head home on Christmas eve, so y'all can announce it to your families? Just thinking of possibilities. My dad proposed to my mom on Christmas eve, and they showed up at her family's house and waited to see if anyone noticed the ring...!!!

@gemstone.. i'm not sure.. the only thing that i ever showed him that i loved was about the debeers commercial where the guy puts the journey pendant on the woman.. i cried at the commercial and he was like oh that just happens on tv, no man is really like that... and i looked at him genuinely surprised and said but baby you are... you surprise me all the time with romantic gestures (and it's the truth)

@maria: i really doubt it. i asked if he thought i'd know when he got the ring and he just grinned and said that he didn't know if i would know.. lol! but he also says that i ask him about it too much so i guess mum should be the word but it's hard not to talk to your best friend about something this exciting, you know?
