Honestly boys are cute! I always had my heart set on a girl when I plan to have a baby but I have been leaning towards boys now cause so many of my friends have boys and they are just adorable. Also boys will always love there moms girls go through a stage where they hate there moms and sometimes the closeness never comes back Boys are always mommas boys no matter the age!!

I wanted a girl. With both of my children I wanted a girl. I have 2 boys…lol. I was more crushed the first time. I have a stepdaughter so I have my “girl”. Honestly give it a few days and then start looking at all the adorable boy clothes and start getting excited about bringing him home and all the cool toys boys get to play with that mom gets to try out first πŸ˜‰

A healthy baby of either gender is something to be grateful for.  You’ll get used to the idea of a boy soon enough, and then I’m sure you’ll be excited.

Little boys are super fun!  I have a nephew who is awesome.

You will LOVE having a little mommas boy πŸ™‚ When I was pregnant with DS I REALLY wanted a girl but I am so glad I have my handsome little man. DS is 3.5 now and I just love him to pieces. Now with LO #2 on the way I am hoping for another boy we are team green but I have a really strong gut feeling I’m growing a little man inside of me πŸ™‚

Congratulations! I completely understand about wanting a girl, I’m not pregnant but I definitely want a girl lol. My sister has a boy and she loves that boy so much! She has a girl also and told me that boys are easier in every way, having a girl, for her, seems like a lot more work.

I know the feeling! I’m almost 12 weeks and I am trying to come to terms with the possibility that this little one is a boy. Due to circumstances I grew up surrounded around women – my sister and mom, girlfriends – so I’m not as accustomed to men.

What I have been thinking is that little boys are really fun. They usually really love their moms, and if they are the first born then they may be a really great older brother, a protector of the other sibling(s). I just held a 7 month old little boy and he really helped to convince me of their adorableness. Also, my husband is an unusually sensitive, smart and thoughtful man – so I know that if we have a boy he will have a really good influence.

We’d love to have a boy!  We have two girls, so we’re hoping for a boy next!  It will be OK though, I understand that it can be emotional.  Just you wait though, the closer you get to the baby being born, the more you will find that it won’t matter!
