I’d like to start a wedding registry that will contain items from random multiple stores. Any suggestions on which site I should use? I’ve seen some people use myregistry.com and I’ve heard of others using amazon.com. Thoughts?

I’ve heard of people loving myregistry.com, though I don’t have any personal experience with it. Bumping for you in hopes of better answers!

Our is on giftregistry360.com. It’s okay, but I think we could have found something that would have been easier for guests to use.

We were going to use Amazon.com, but we weren’t sure that people would take the time to check off that they got an item. It’s easy if you go to the store and tell them this is an item from so-and-so’s registry because they usually mark the item as bought for you when they scan it. But with the Amazon.com registry the guests would have to update the items they bought themselves. And we didn’t think many guests would remember (or know) to do that. [Some of our guests just aren’t internet savvy.] To avoid duplicates and confusion we decided to register at the individual stores.

We’re using myregistry.com – it’s been great so far. No guests have bought anything from it yet, though, I think a traditional store registry is preferred from most people…
