I like the idea of different colors all in the same family - like the first pic. But I also found this pretty one with totally different colors. I actually really like the dress in the second one - definitely something most 'maids would wear again.

What makes a colour springy in your mind? Pastels? Muted tones? Vibrancy? Green hues?
I think there are a LOT of options out there for mismatched colours etc, you can even pick ONE colour & end up with different tones that make it seem like different colours too.
Do you have any favourite/must haves in regards to flowers/theme/? As that could influence your colour choice (whether you would like to compliment/contrast and/or match with the colour decided on).

How about choosing a color range (greens and blues, or pink through yellow), type of fabric, and a length, then letting the girls find their dresses?

I think I have decided to have all different colored bridesmaids dresses. Now to decide what color dresses to have. I want springy colors because the wedding is May 21st of 2011. I am going to have bright colored gerber daisy bouquets . Any suggestions for the colors of my 6 bridesmaid dresses.
