I think as long as you have a small variety to please everyone you'll be fine. I too have to play a wide variety of music, I'm Puerto Rican and my fam loves their salsa music, and my FI loves his rock music, and his family loves oldies and we have guests that love country and a young crowd that loves pop music. We will probably start out with some spanish and oldies to please our older guests and move into more dance music toward the end of the night.
I think the ceremony in spanish and english is a great touch and I think his parents will certainly appreciate it!

Hi Bees,
I'm having a multicultural wedding: fiance is Mexican, church is primarily black, I'm Irish, etc. I want to have a mix of music but I really want the mother/groom dance to be in Spanish. I heard "Te Amo, Mama" and a few others I liked. Anyone else have any other ideas?
Also, does anyone have any ideas for bilingual receptions? I have a bilingual DJ, might send out bilingual invitations (although only a few people DON'T speak English), having parts of ceremony in English and others in Spanish.
My FMIL and FFIL don't speak any English but I want them to be able to enjoy the ceremony and reception and UNDERSTAND as much as possible. Any comments/suggestions? Thanks!
