Wishing you the best of luck!  One thing I have learned with house hunting though is that there are plenty of homes that will make you happy, it’s just a matter of time to find the right one.  I hope this is your time! 🙂

@FoxyBride14:  We’re trying to get a cheaper 2 family rental home right now…found “the one” but after the owner put in the required work for the rental she backed out because she decided to rent it herself…after 5 months of back and forth.  It really is a frustrating process, on both the hunting and buying.

@FoxyBride14:  Good luck! I always tell my clients in multiple offer situations if they are in love with the home be prepared to be aggressive and offer a tad more than the number in their head. For example, I had a highest and best situation last week and my clients wanted to offer 250K I told them to raise it to $250,100. They got the house because they beat all other offers by 100 bucks 🙂

@FoxyBride14:  More just really disappointing…we like the home we’re in now, but having a rental property that we can buy cheap and rent out (we’re both good with doing repairs together) will help us save so we can buy a really nice home in our area and rent out where we are now later.  We were being so good about not using credit cards around the holidays for NOTHING lol.

I hope it all works out for you. In the mean time, I’d say do anything and everything you possibly can to not think about it. Take up a new hobby if you have to, but I just remember that thinking about the possibilities was the worst part for me.
