When does it happen? I've seen it happen when the boards are really slow. Like it takes more than a minute to load threads.
What platform do you use? computer and on my iphone
What operating system and version do you use? I've seen it both on PCs and my mac. Using PC with Windows EX. Using a Mac with OS 10.6 (snow leopard).
What browser do you use? IE7, Firefox on my mac and Safari on my iphone
ETA: Oh, I'm only hitting the submit button once.
When does it happen? For me it is pretty spuratic but I have noticed it mostly when the bee slows down (speed wise, not post wise)

I sometimes hit the "post" twice after it times out, but usually after hitting the "back" button. BUT not always.
When does it happen? when it is a high traffic time. When I click "submit" often I have to refresh it since the page will stop loading....resulting in double posts. Pages don't load and I have to refresh about 50% of the time. Very frustrating.

When does it happen? sometimes for no reason I can figure out (identical timestamp); sometimes I get an error message like the page timed out and resubmit, then it shows up as different time stamps (because I accidently posted 2x)

When does it happen? I usually have double posts when a page takes too long to load. When this happens the site always seems bogged down no matter what page I try to open.

ETA: I don't hit the submit button more than once and still experience double or triple posts just like the PPs. Sometimes I try to avoid the issue by copying what I was going to post and then backing out of the page or refreshing it before trying to submit again.

When does it happen?
Usually when the site is running slowly. The first couple times, I got a time out so I went back and tried again, only to find out the first post had gone through, so I don't do that any more. I've still had double posts happen, though. Most recently, I hit "submit" and it took a long time, but eventually loaded the thread I was posting on and there were two posts by me.

When does it happen? When the site is really busy/slow. I've learned to only hit submit once, even if the next page times out (which happens fairly often).

It happens to me more at night, more often when I use Explorer (I use Firefox the rest of the time and have had no problems), and when the site is slow.
When it happens to me, I hit "submit," the site thinks for awhile, and then takes me to an "error" page where it says I have been unsuccessful and to repost. When I repost, both show up.

When does it happen?
It happens mostly when the boards are slow. I've noticed that a lot of times when the boards are slow it will go back to the thread I just posted on, and my post won't be there. Even if I reload the page, so I'll copy and paste my comment again, and sometimes it won't go through. But eventually they show up. Sometimes several minutes later.
Also, it happens a lot when the thread starts getting really long 10+ pages usually.

I agree with everyone elses's statements. I always get the error too though that I actually need to submit some content, even though it's posted it 2 times.

When does it happen? The site lags and either leaves a blank page or gives me the "Slow down you move too fast" error page, so I go back and re-submit since it shows that my comment didn't go through the first time. When I re-submit, that's when I get two posts.
