I’m a photographer and I’ve worked at a venue where there was 1 huge ball room, split into 3 separate rooms for 3 different weddings.  Noise wasn’t an issue.  Everything was handled professionally by the staff.

I didn’t like that either when I booked mine. There happened to be a smaller engagement party going on and supposedly they kept peeking in my room because they said it sounds fun in there! Some of my guests said they heard our music.

However, if it is another wedding with loud music, perhaps you won’t notice.

Hmmm… that seems a little awkward.

There will be another wedding at my venue on my night, but they are in two different spaces- mine is in the large 2nd floor ballroom, and theirs is in the smaller 12th floor ballroom on the other side.

Usually though, if the venue has been in business a while, and has a good coordinator, things would run pretty smoothly I think.
