…Have you tested again? I haven’t heard of a UTI giving a positive pregnancy test!

In my first pregnancy, from weeks 4.5- 21, I didn’t feel too bad. I had limited nausea, but was mostly just exhausted (22w onward were a nightmare though..)

Here’s my photos showing pre-preg up to week 19

My second pregnancy, weeks 7-24 were brutal. I had awful morning sickness, was exhausted, and just miserable the whole time. I showed very early (but that is typical with second pregnancies).

This is my “bump” at 14 weeks. It was more bloat than anything.

And this is last week at 18 weeks.

I was still horribly sick with nausea and exhaustion up until about week 15.  Besides the occasional heartburn, I feel much like my pre-pregnancy self these days (18+4).

Sparkidoodle:  No problem! Good luck with everything! Pregnancy is so unpredictable. You may be lucky and feel great in the first trimester… or may be miserable! It’s so hard to know. The most likely is that you’ll be tired…but that should be something you’ll be able to get through without too much struggle!

I has MS from weeks 8-16.  So I felt great at about 19 weeks.  But if it takes you longer to get pregnant…you might not be feeling so hot.

Anyway, I didn’t have much of a bump at 19 weeks (I’m tall and long-waisted though).  I don’t have pics on this computer from before 21 weeks, so here is 21 weeks.  It could easily have been covered completely with a ballgown or A-line style dress.

Not much to see here… and I have had zero morning sickness either – feeling pretty lucky!

Sparkidoodle:  Here is when I had just barely started to show, at 16.5 weeks. And then around 20 weeks in the second two pics, but in one I was sucking it in and the other I was sticking it out, haha. My nausea was better by 15 weeks but I would still have times where I felt super quesy and gross up until 30 weeks. I was extremely exhausted until about 14 weeks as well. Good luck to you!

The only thing I would recommend is make sure to pick a dress that isn’t super fitted. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding when I was 19 weeks pregnant and it is a typical time for growth. I tried my dress on a week before the wedding and it fit great. Then two days before the wedding I decided to double check that it was all good and my mom couldn’t zip it over my bump. (Keep in mind that I am 5 ft tall though). The dress had pleats in the front and back and my mom had to take them out so that I had room. It worked out well though. Here is a pic from the wedding and a pic of me at 18 weeks.

Sparkidoodle:  this was me at 20 weeks (I’m 5’4″ if that helps)

I was super sick first and most of second trimester..and after that just so tired. I never had the energy to really do anything :/

I popped really early (between 12-13 weeks)… this is my first pregnancy, I’m 5’3″ and relatively short waisted if that helps. By 12 weeks I was feeling basically normal again, and now at 21 weeks I feel great.

“before” and 12 weeks for reference, my belly was nearly flat before…

And a progression shot, I popped after the 12 week picture and basically my belly hasn’t changed a whole lot since. lol

MrsMath:  I was in a wedding 1 month after birth…I think we had BM dresses almost exactly like that lol.  It looked pretty horrible on me!  Loose enough on top and at the waist but my hips were still too big for it.  No super fitted dresses!
