Okay so i have been having BH since around 25 weeks, and they have just started to become very painful the last 2 days. I am now 37 weeks, and my Doctor said it could definitely be a sign that things are getting close!
I have also been having really bad cervix pains and pressure for the last 3-4 weeks. No idea if I am dialated (although I’ve heard this doesn’t mean a lot unless you’re actually in labour), as my Doctor doesn’t do routine checks.
Have any of you Mum’s experienced painful BH just before real labour?
I was originally due to be induced 4th of Sept, but am luckily able to wait for it to happen naturally (at this stage anyway).

My midwife said yesterday that cervix pains in the last few weeks are very normal, but I don’t know about painful BH. Usually people say that if BH hurts it’s more than just BH.
Keep us posted!

@bunnymama: I figured the cervix pains are normal as nothing has happened..well until the BH became painful.
Will keep you posted 🙂

@MrsSmokey: Oh yes. My BH were just plain awful. It felt like my abdominal muscles were tearing apart inside me! Argh! For me they were just about as bad as early labor pains. I would have to breathe through them. However, completely normal. If you feel a stabbing pain or have bleeding then you should be concerned.
