We just wired in speakers and a microphone and were done. It was awfully easy to set up, and we just moved the equipment from the ceremony site to the reception site in the afternoon.
It wasn't a hassle at all!

Here's my dilema. We are DIY-ing our music. We have a generally older crowd, and I don't anticipate much dancing, so we skipped a DJ in lieu of doing music ourselves. We need a microphone, probably a wireless one. We also, obviously need some sort of speakers or amp for the ipod.
But I don't know specifically what equiptment I need. I have the iPod and my step bro has a basic amp. I'm at a loss beyond that, aside from buying a microphone. Help! What else do i need? If you did an iPod reception, what did you use and how did it work?
Thanks!
