LAST NIGHT! Took me to our old high school and proposed on the spot where 13 years ago we cried our goodbyes when I moved 8000 miles away for college (I was two grades above him).

There wasn't a flowery speech because the moment we stood there and he started to say "let's make another memory here", I just looked at him and was like, "Are you serious? OMG, you're so silly!" (where did "silly" come from? I dunno...) and he got down on one knee and I kept laughing and he had to remind me, "are you going to say yes?".

As much as I'd love a nice long 9+ months to plan, he's thinking ideally March, latest June. I need a few more hours to process this... *passout*

Here's the ring, with a rose from the first bouquet I caught, 3 weeks ago at my brother's wedding :)

Congrats! That's such a cute proposal location!! Good luck planning, I say try for June! I had a friend from HS plan a wedding in 4 months and she seriously almost lost her freakin' mind! 6 months seems a lil more manageable (although I went with 1.5 years lol)

Congrats! Your story sounds so similiar to mine. I caught the bouquet at a friends wedding a month before he proposed. And when he did the first thing out of my mouth was "are you serious?".. Lol. Enjoy!!!
