They are just funny... my friends actually drew mustaches on the back of their fingers instead... like pp just props realy
I don't get it but to each their own. I've only ever seen them in the various wedding blogs online, but never in real life.
I think it's just a trend that some people find cute and/or funny. I don't really get it either, but that's what I've gathered about it.
I like them! I think they encourage people to be goofy in photobooth shots.

We used them in our photobooth and people LOVED them! There were lots of other props/costumy things (feather boa, huge sombrero, costume jewelry, etc.) but especially the older crowd really zeroed in on the mustaches and lips on sticks.
(For your guests taking pictures) it's easy, not a huge commitment, requires zero creativity, and yet totally silly - which is what photobooth pictures are often meant to be!
But you can still get creative with them - we had one married couple who grabbed two sets of lips and leaned in like they were going to kiss, but stopped like 4 inches from each other, with the lips bridging the gap. It was adorable!
Do a lot of people have photo booths? I have never seen one at a wedding.
I have been to a wedding with a physical photobooth (the kind with a curtain that spits out photos) and it was tons of fun. For my wedding, my photographer has an "automatic photobooth." They have a camera that takes pictures every 20 seconds all night long, and a designated spot where it's going off. We're going to set up a backdrop, a few props and yes, likely some mustache sticks, and let people go nuts. At one wedding that my photographer shot, the band started a dance party in front of the photobooth camera, so there are all sorts of crazy spontaneous shots of people being nuts! It is so great!

Can someone explain them to me? I keep seeing pics with them and have no clue what the point is. Did I miss something? I am not bashing, I seriously have no clue.
