I’m the MOH and waaaay involved in the wedding planning (my best friend’s FI is in the Army and has been overseas), and we just had an issue come up with renting the tuxes at Men’s Wearhouse. The 4 groomsmen are wearing chocolate brown tuxes (wedding colors: pool blue and chocolate), and the ring bearer was supposed to be wearing the same one. When the bride went into the store she specifically said 4 groomsmen and a ring bearer. However, when the ring bearer’s mother went in to get everything set for his rental, she was informed that they do not rent tuxes in his size and that she would have to buy one. So, she said that she’d buy one…then they told her that they don’t even sell the chocolate brown tux in his size!!! So, now he’s wearing an ivory tux because she couldn’t find a chocolate one anywhere that was a reasonable price (they were all $$$$$).
Shouldn’t they have asked the bride how old the ring bearer was when she first went into the store, so that she could have know that they didn’t have his size and gone elsewhere? Has anyone else had this issue?
