Yay!! this is my 1st DIY project. took me a while but finally done, might still need some changes.
These were some of the supplies i used
- glue gun
- floral wire
- floral tape
- satin flowers of your choice
- Diamond mesh
- Brooches of your choice
The first thing i did was fold the floral wire in half and twisted it. i bent it on top so that it could have a bit of a flat surface.
After that i glued the wire to the Rose and wrapped floral tage on the stem
I did the same thing to the brooches
I got all the flowers together and started to set them up in a round shape
The next step i did was to add the brooches
The final step was to add the diamond mesh on the handle and DONE!!
i still feel that i need to fix it. im not totally happy with it! again this was my 1st try and i still need to do touch ups.
Hope u enjoyed!

It looks great honey! Maybe add some light green “leaves” around where the greenery is to give it a more full look?
Like they did with the white ribbon here?

@HelleCat: thats a good idea! do you have any suggestions on what color to use? since the roses are burgundy and red?
I think just a regular dark green would be pretty enough to use, but not take anything away from all the fabu red and silver you have going on.

Looks great, and I agree about the dark green “greenery” 🙂

You did a beautiful job with your bouquet!! 🙂

Have you thought about a cream, black, or even deep red lace instead of crystals? And I would also fill it out more so that the green wire isnt visible…very nice start though!

I love this! One of my bridesmaids has offered to make my bouquets as well as the bridesmaids! Which was awful nice of her. I think shes making them with silk flowers though. Im pretty excited to see the outcome! How long did it take you to make??

I really love it the way it is! I have simple tastes though…

I love it! where did you get the flowers?

thanks dolls! 🙂
@myluverbuny: im pretty sure she will do a great job! 🙂 it took me about a few hours to finish everything. felt like forever lol
@AlwaysSunny: thank u sweetie 🙂 i have simple taste also, but i just wanted some opinions 🙂
@mustlovecats: i got the satin flowers from a vendor on Ebay. i got the 2 inch roses, they look a bit more realistic, the 1 inch and 1 1/2 inch roses are a bit too small. hope this helps
